About Government Medical College Manjeri
Government Medical College, Manjeri is the sixth government medical college under the Government of Kerala, inaugurated on 1 September 2013 by Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. The college, affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), features 500 beds and 12 operation theatres, with an annual intake of 110 students for MBBS. It was the first government medical college established in the state in 31 years, fulfilling a long-cherished dream for the largest populated district in Kerala. The institution is committed to nurturing the next generation of healthcare leaders through excellence in medical education, research, and patient care.
