Neelikkandi Moideen Sahib Memorial Govt. College Kalpetta, established in 1981, is a pioneering government institution in Wayanad, Kerala. Initially housed in a rented facility, the college relocated to its 25-acre campus at Vellaramkunnu in 1983, a gift from the Neelikkandy Family. Affiliated to Calicut University, the college provides transformative higher education to deserving students, especially from marginalized communities and first-generation learners in the region. It is recognized as the main centre for higher education in Wayanad and was reaccredited by NAAC with a higher grade of 'A'. The college boasts a diverse academic portfolio of six undergraduate and four postgraduate programmes, consistently producing university rank holders and accomplished sportspersons.
